Back To PNG
In December of 2024 the Liberty ship was finally certified to sail and has been docked in its home port of Madang, Papua New Guinea. It recently set sail on its first medical outreach in 7 years. It has been a long, slow process with many delays, but we are celebrating because it’s back in service!

Below is a floor plan for the medical deck (cargo hold).

Strike four, I’m in!
Five of us will set out April 15th to return to PNG on yet another “Strike Team” to do rapids repairs and improvements between voyages. After a few days of travel, we will meet the marine vessel in Madang April 19th. The ship will only be docked for a week to restock supplies and welcome new medical workers for its next outreach. During that time, we will install new flooring in 11 cabins, build shelving, a bed and complete any other maintenance repairs needed.
As always, I covet your prayers. Travel is hard on my body, but I believe God is asking me to return. Therefore, I know He will meet me in the discomfort.
Please pray for:
- Team unity and connection with the crew on board the Liberty
- That those serving on the vessel would be refreshed and encouraged
- Health and healing, specifically chronic sciatica pain
- That people we meet would follow Jesus
- Financial provision
